DELVE Mourns Boulder Shooting Victims And Announces Donation

DELVE Mourns the Victims of Boulder, CO Shooting and Announces Donation to Colorado Healing Fund

Message from Greg Sobiech, DELVE Founder and CEO

Over the past week, I have watched in sadness and horror as the details of Monday’s shooting have been revealed. To say that the DELVE team is anguished by the slaughter of ten of our neighbors at a local grocery store is an understatement. Our hearts go out to the victims and to all who lost loved ones this week, including the families of Tralona Bartkowiak, Suzanne Fountain, Teri Leiker, Kevin Mahoney, Lynn Murray, Rikki Olds, Neven Stanisic, Denny Stong, Jody Waters, and courageous police officer Eric Talley, the first responder on the scene and the father of seven children.

DELVE mourns their loss, and we grieve for them. And we grieve for our community: the place I have personally called home for over five years. The place I chose to raise my family. The place we chose to build our business. This is a city unlike any other. It’s a place defined by tranquility and immense natural beauty. It should have continued to be a place of peace.

This event cannot be just another tragedy to which we offer our collective grief. Instead, we must come together to repair the damage done to our community.

The power of a community is bigger than the success of its residents or the beauty of its downtown. The true power of a community reveals itself when tragedy strikes. We know that Boulder is a community defined by grit and by passion. We will not allow ourselves to be defined by the worst among us.

At DELVE, we’re all-in on Boulder. To aid in the support of our community, we’re donating to the Colorado Healing Fund. The non-profit was created to support victims of mass tragedies and is collecting donations for victims of Monday’s shooting.

If you would like to join us in showing your support, we encourage you to donate at www.coloradohealingfund.org.

Boulder, we are with you. We support you. We love you. #BoulderStrong
