A Junior SEM & Paid Social Manager on Daily Life at DELVE

Nataliia Baidetska gives us an inside look at her duties as a DELVE Junior SEM & Paid Social Manager.

Nataliia, what do you do at DELVE?

I develop, manage, execute and optimize search engine and social advertising campaigns for a variety of clients across different platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta and TikTok. I analyze positive or negative trends across all channels using tools including Google Analytics, Google Trends, Google Data Studio, and Semrush.

In other words, I DELVE into the client’s strategy, business needs and goals to achieve the maximum ROI for their campaign—since even minor changes in KPI can have a significant impact on strategy and decision making. 

What does your daily routine look like?

Every day is a mix of technical implementation and creative brainstorming. Our team works with the biggest and powerful products, which provides great opportunities for testing. Often while we’re monitoring the performance of advertising campaigns, we’ll learn new platform innovations and then immediately experiment with current ads. Research skills are very important in this role; our team constantly shares different ideas and tests the best of them, improving both our internal knowledge and the client’s results. 

I’m very aware that we control one of the most valuable things: the client’s investment. My task is to develop an effective budget, maintain and improve a high return on investment, and become a true leader who will help direct my client’s advertising strategy to success.

What is particularly important to you in this job?

The platforms we work with confirm the fact that technology never stands still, so it’s very important to keep up with innovation in the space. Being a SEM & Paid Social Manager means constantly developing and testing new advertising solutions. I love that I’m empowered to bring my own ideas to the team, and then present them to the client. When your strategy works and brings fantastic results—that’s the highest level of professional satisfaction 😉 

What are you most proud of in your work at DELVE?

I’m most proud of the independence and confidence I’ve gained, especially in conducting meetings with clients. And I’m very proud that after starting with medium-size businesses that spent around $10k per month, I’m now managing large brands with huge investments that are 10x more. 

Why in your opinion is it worth joining DELVE?
